Oh my goodness!!! You guys, I just found the third book from the Matched series!!!! Right now!!! Time is 6:02 pm, the 22nd of March of 2012 Ally Condie is releasing a new third book called Reached! I don't know when it's release date is, but if any of you find out, post it on our little blog. I found the book cover and it was so, so, so cool! If you have read the first book, you know that Cassia has a compartment for three little pills The Society gave her. Green is the first book cover, Blue is the second, and guess what the color is for the third cover... red obviously!!!

I was absent for the awesome field trip today

Hey readers!  I just wanted to tell you guys how much I enjoyed the field trip today. It was literally one of the best days of my life! We did buy more than 50 new books for our dear little library (courtesy of Book People and Half Price Books)... and we also got a chance to taste samples of different varieties of coffee beans with its pastry complement in Starbucks! :)) I am definitely looking forward to read the new books. One quick question, how did you all feel when you were getting books for our library? (Please let me know in the comments!) I felt excited and giddy and pleased to know that the library has had a huge update for this year. Remember that there are new interesting books. Check out the blog for more updates in books!! (The updates are not daily, but it usually has a post by the end of the week).

Books and a link

Getting Ready for the BIG SHOPPING TRIP!

Woohooo!!! I am SO excited about heading to Austin with 31 members of the Library Club and money to spend at Book People and Half Price Books!!!  Not only that - we get a WAY cool lunch @ Fogo de Chao and a Coffee-Tasting @ Starbucks!  GREAT WORK Club for the RFP from ACE and getting two local businesses to support and sponsor your lunch and coffee/reading time!

Things you might want to do this week and next:
Think about what books you want to choose for the library shelves! Is there a series of five and we're missing number 2? Is there a hot new title you MUST read?
Think about what you are going to wear: COMFY! (so sneakers ok) but dressed respectably - (nice clean jeans ok - with nice shirt - no sketchy clothes...you know what I mean!)
Think about what YOU want from this trip - and how you will say THANK YOU to all the good people and organizations who supported it for you!

Okay - that's enough of that!

Don't forget - It's the Wednesday we return from Spring Break (March 21st) - ALL DAY. You might want to bring $5 to $20 to buy books for YOURSELF @ Half Price Books!
