I LOVED this book too!!! It reminded me of the whole Romiette & Julio thing by Sharon Draper - but in this one, instead of a young latino and a young african american, it's between a young hispanic and caucasian!
Definitely throws some stereotypes into the wind.
What I liked most about it I think was how "believable both of the main characters seemed - and how they let me see a little bit into a life I've never experienced!
Now if y'all will quit reading them - I'll get to number 2!!! :) LOL
Ashley said she cried after reading Perfect Chemestry. I think that was sweet, but im more into violence....not gang violence, but sophisticated violence. :)
Wow - what's sophisticated violence? Are you talking Silence of the Lambs? psychological thriller? or James Bond or Bourne Identity blow 'em up with a cool plan kind of violence?
i was not into gangs but when i read these books, i was like d*** i love gang violence with a little mix of love!!!!!!! hope da 3rd one comes out soon
